Coir Matting

Coir Matting

Coir Erosion Control mats are made from 100% natural coir (coconut hair). They are designed to protect soil, seed and fertilizer from being washed away by natural forces such as rain and wind. They act to support earth embankments until vegetation has been established. The blankets then naturally decompose in a period of 3-5 years. They promote and protect vegetative growth, are lightweight, flexible and easy to install even on uneven ground.

Depending on the site specifics, we have 3 types available  -  400, 700 & 900 gms/sq.m.
