Since leaving College, Gerald Marshall, President of Martek Supply, worked for both Civil Engineers and Highway Contractors.
In 1981, he was introduced into the new and exciting world of Geosynthetics when he was approached by a local Milton company that sold Geotextiles and Erosion Control Materials.
In December 1990 Gerald decided it was time to start his own business and from the early days of a home office, selling just Geotextiles, Erosion Control Blankets and Silt Fences, the company has grown to a fully stocked warehouse with a vast array of products.
Gerald also realized that customer service was of prime importance and that delivery to the yard or jobsite was essential and to this day the company's focus has been on the client's requirements. These ideals are passed on to our friendly and informative sales staff who are not only well versed in the Martek Product line, but can also offer helpful advice on a wide variety of construction and landscaping projects.
